Go New Haven Non-profits!
Time: 4:30
Place: Non-profit information booth next to the FESTIVAL info booth at the corner of Church and Elm near the large stage.Let’s get people talking! On June 20th, before the International Festival’s Mavis Staples concert on the New Haven Green, representatives from New Haven’s non-profit organizations will scatter throughout the crowd dispensing “I Love New Haven Non Profits” stickers as well as “Impact Fact Trading Cards.”
Each card will represent a different agency. Volunteers will encourage people to trade cards throughout the evening, educating people about great diversity of the work and impact of New Haven non-profits. From health and human services to the arts and environment, non-profits make New Haven a better place.
Our hope is that on this evening, the stickers and cards will inspire people to talk about the incredible value and importance of non-profit organizations to the New Haven community, creating a collective “buzz” that will build support for all of our work.
