We know that children who suffer from a lack of food, shelter and clothing - including diapers - are at a distinct disadvantage and an increased risk of a host of problems, including neglect, abuse and lowered self-esteem. Access to diapers is not only a basic human need itself, but also a need that, if not met, results in impediments to securing other basic human needs.’
