Neighbor to Neighbor operates a client choice Food Pantry, in which clients select their own food from a healthy array of protein, fruit, vegetables, grains, cereals, eggs, and milk. Neighbor to Neighbor aims to provide healthy food that accommodates cultural, religious, personal, and dietary preferences. The Food Pantry also offers essential household items and personal products. Clients are referred to Neighbor to Neighbor by approved referring agencies such as the Town of Greenwich Human Services Department, other local human service agencies, or the public schools system that determine a family’s eligibility to receive assistance by verifying their income and town of residence.
